Temple Routine

Daily Schedule & Divine Rituals

The temple door (dwaar) of Shri Thakur Rajgopal Ji Maharaj Mandir open at 5:00 am every morning, following a strict daily routine for devotees. This schedule is designed to allow pilgrims an ecstatic rendezvous with Lord Shri Rajgopal Ji Maharaj and Ammaji through mandatory rituals. The temple administration follows specific timings for darshan and aarti to cater to the spiritual needs of every devotee. The various rituals, that are observed daily in the temple commence at about 5 AM and continues till 9.00 PM. The following is a brief account of the daily rituals of Lord Shri Rajgopalji Maharaj.

Daily Rituals

  • Mangala Aarti After the opening of temple dwaar at 5.00 AM subsequently Mangala Aarti is performed by temple pujariji as Karpur and Bati Aarti at 5.30 AM.
  • Shringar Aarti (Divya Aradhan) Lord Rajgopalji Maharaj along with Ammaji take bathe with water mixed with camphor, curd, amla, sandal paste and scented flowers. After the bathing rituals have been completed the deities change their clothes and wear another set of clothes with floral ornaments and garlands etc. Then Shringar Aarti is performed at 6.30 AM.
  • Roksha Homa (Fire sacrifice in the Kitchen) Roksha homa is done in the kitchen before cooking of the Thakurji food is started at 7.30 AM.
  • Bhog and Distribution of Havan and Goshti Prasad First Bhog is offered to Lord at 8.00 - 9.00 A.M.
  • Bhog Aarti and Goshti Prasadam Bhog is the food offered to Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj and Ammaji at 11.30 AM, prepared by pujariji in Mandir Rasooe without tasting or eating it in the process. The bhog and Aarti is offered and post it the bhog is distributed among the devotees. The bhog is prepared to meet the requirement of general public.
  • Darshan Closes The darshan closes from 12.00 noon to 4.00 PM every day from April to August and 12.00 noon to 3.00 PM from September to March.
  • Sandhya Aarti (Evening Aradhan, on Days when there is no Sawari) The prescribed time is 6.30 PM. In the evening sacred lmps (Aarti) is offered to the Deities along with evening Bhog and Goshti Prasad Distribution.
  • Shayan Aarti (Night Aradhan) The time of this Aarti is in between 8.30 PM to 9.00 PM. Last bhog is offered to the deities along with aarti.
  • Darshan Closes The temple dwaar closes at 9.00 PM.

  • Everyday Darshan will be open for 15 mins after Bhog.
