An annual traditional form of musical theatre that blends dramatic performance, song, and dance, often portraying mythological and folklore stories depicting the life and adventures of Lord Ram, celebrated during Navratri before Dussehra.

This heritage mela is celebrated from last 155 years along the side of Bhramoutsav in Rajgopalji Maharaj temple where temporary shops of handmade rural product were displayed which contributes in the economic development of the village and also enhance the folk cultural activities such as “Rajputi Hori” and “Mathura Ras Leela.”

Madanpur is historically significant as one of the first settlement village of the Mathur Kayastha Zamindars, who originally moved from Rapdi due to fatal invasion of Rapdi by Mohmmad Gori and started residing there ever since. As Mathur clan was highly educated seigneury of that time established their presence in the region, and Madanpur became one of the key villages for their descendants, still this Mathur Clan is known as “Madanpur family” in Kayastha community.
