Temple Dress Code

Preserving Dignity & Spiritual Heritage

To enhance the spiritual ambience among the devotees coming to Madanpur for the darshan of Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj, the temple trust has introduced a traditional dress code. While not strictly compulsory at present, these should be followed ethically to maintain the sanctity of the temple.
For Men
  • Dhoti & Kurta
  • Pyjamas & Kurta
  • Proper Upper Cloth (Angavastram)
For Women
  • Saree
  • Lehenga / Ghagra / Chaniya with blouse or choli
  • Kurta with Salwar / Churidar
  • Must have Upper Cloth (Dupatta/Chunni)

⚠️ Strictly Prohibited
Western dresses and body-revealing outfits are not permitted within the temple parisar.
Wearing socks on the Jagmohan (Main Sanctum Threshold) is strictly forbidden.
Men with half pants and ladies with nighties
