Dr. Yogesh Kumar Mathur

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Mathur

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Mathur (popularly known as Yugoo Dada) son of Raj Narayan Mathur was born on 6th June 1941 in Madanpur. His journey started right from getting primary education facing all rural challenges of Madanpur to becoming the Dean at CSA University. It is a testament to both his personal grit and his academic excellence and represents a beautiful balance between professional success and spiritual humility.

Devotion towards Rajgopalji Maharaj Temple

He is a staunch devotee of Rajgopalji Maharaj and firmly believe that whatever he has achieved in life is all because of Rajgopalji Maharaj’s Kripa. As a rare family record he has never missed any Bhramoutsav and Madanpur Chaitra Mela during his lifetime. This clearly reflect his perspective that attending the Bhramoutsav acts as a "Renewal of His Life Certificate" is his profound way to look at faith and gratitude.

Legacy

As a mark of family’s lifelong indebtedness towards Shri Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj his father, donated a Hans Sawari to Rajgopalji Maharaj temple in gratitude for his first job, adding a new Vahan during Bhramoutsav. The trait of serving Rajgopalji Maharaj selflessly is inherited well by his son Shri Sachin Mathur. Although he lives in London but tries to attend Bhramoutsav physically whenever he can and generously financially help the temple.

Academic and Professional Excellence

  • Academic Brilliance: Ranking 21st out of 2 lakh students in his intermediate exams not only earned him scholarship from UP government but also was an incredible feat that clearly paved the way for his future as a renowned Entomologist. Later on, he did B.Sc. from Jobner near Jaipur and then M.Sc. Ph. D (Entomology) from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology Kanpur (CSA University).
  • Scientific Contribution: His novel research on the economic utilization of mouse skin and his authorship of six books show a deep commitment to agricultural science, rightly earning him the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Puraskar from ICAR.
  • He organized many Conferences and Exhibitions in University and guided 14 Ph.Ds during my professional career.
Shri Raghvendra Mohan Mathur

Shri Raghvendra Mohan Mathur

Shri Raghvendra Mohan Mathur (popularly known as Raghav), son of late Shri Surendra Mohan Mathur, devoted more than three decades (1991–2025) serving as trustee of Shri Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj Virajman Mandir. At present, he is a member of Advisory Board helping the present day Mandir trust with his experience and expert advice.

The sacred responsibility of trusteeship was first carried out by his father, who served the temple with deep devotion until his passing in 1991. Carrying the legacy forward, Shri Raghvendra Mohan Mathur stepped forward to continue this family tradition. For over three decades, he served the temple and the people of Madanpur with unwavering faith, sincerity and humility, upholding the spiritual values.

In an exemplary act, he voluntarily handed over his legacy member trustee position of Mandir Management trust not to his heir but to a young Madanpur Mathur family heir over seeing his dedication and service towards Rajgopalji Maharaj. This act itself shows his utmost devotion to serve Rajgopalji Maharaj wherein he is not only breaking archetypical hereditary rules but simultaneously ensuring that Rajgopalji Maharaj Seva will be continued with full devotion and faith in future.

Strengthening the Temple’s Sacred Traditions

During his 34 years of dedicated leadership, important infrastructural and spiritual developments were implemented, strengthening the temple’s facilities and devotional environment, summarized as under:

  • Ganesh Ji ki Esthapna: Enduring the legacy his mother, Smt. Chandra Kumari Mathur, in loving memory of her husband, Shri Surendra Mohan Mathur, performed the sacred Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ganeshji Maharaj idol along with a small temple within the premises of Thakur Shri Raj Gopal Ji Maharaj Temple in the year 2003. This stands as a lasting symbol of devotion, remembrance, and the family’s continued commitment to the spiritual and cultural heritage of Madanpur.
  • Rath for Rajgopalji Maharaj Bhramoutsav processions: He was instrumental in act of traditional Rath (chariot) addition to Brahmotsav Savari processions. This not only enhanced the temple’s festive glory and celebration but also made feasible the Savari procession with changing time.
  • Infrastructure enhancements: A water pump and standby inverter were installed to address water and lighting needs, to support the temple’s daily rituals and spiritual activities.
  • Parikrama Corridor: The Parikrama corridor roof was covered with the support of him and his elder brother, Shri Shailendra Mohan Mathur, providing devotees with a protected and comfortable pathway for circumambulation.

Professional Services & Community Upliftment

Beyond his spiritual leadership, he also had a distinguished career in Civil Services. As a PCS officer he served in the Sales Tax Department and retired as Deputy Commissioner. Throughout his career, he received multiple awards from the Commissioner in recognition of his integrity and exemplary service.

His commitment extended well beyond the temple walls and into the heart of Madanpur. Believing firmly in the power of education, he was closely associated with the "Madanpur Uchttar Madhyamik Vidyalaya", serving as a long-standing executive member to help uplift the local community.

Shri Dwijendra Mathur

Shri Dwijendra Mathur

Shri. Dwijendra Mathur son of Shri Indra Mathur is Bachelor of chemical engineering from HBTI, Kanpur in 1977. He has over 30 years of experience in various chemical engineering industries in diverse roles.

Presently, he holds Director and Managing Director roles with 2 companies, naming Fare Labs Private Limited and Simple Plant and Process Solutions Private Limited and has 21 years of experience in corporate governance.

Presently, he is serving as a member of Advisory Board of Shri Thakurji Maharaj Virajman Mandir Trust, Madanpur and is keenly interested in funding Mandir Restoration work executed by trust in future.

Shri Anil Mathur

Shri Anil Mathur

Shri Anil Mathur (popularly known as Anil Dada), son of late Shri Virendra Swaroop Mathur, born in 1957 is a prominent figure in Shikohabad's social and religious landscape and a firm believer of Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj.

Rajgopalji Maharaj Temple Service

He has served as a trustee for Shri Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj Virajman Mandir from 2011 to 2025 and currently serves on its Advisory Board. He selflessly provides seva towards Madanpur temple and enthusiastically support temple manager in all temple affairs. Taking further the legacy, his son Shri Shashwat Mathur is the present trustee of the temple and is second generation in service of Rajgopalji Maharaj.

During his tenure of dedicated leadership, he funded important infrastructural developments such as marvel flooring, installation of submersible water pump and room door, light inverter etc. strengthening the temple’s facilities and devotional environment. His regular anonymous donations towards each and every religious activity in temple provides great financial and working support. He is instrumental in organizing various festivals at temple and provide thorough support to the temple trust in every possible way.

  • Entrepreneurship: He is the owner of Shri Neha Hotel & Restaurant a premier hospitality destination in Shikohabad, which he has developed from the ground. It is a highly rated (4.2/5) establishment for its vegetarian cuisine, modern amenities, and event spaces.
  • Social Impact: Known for his dynamic and politically influential presence, he engages in extensive anonymous social work, supporting local educational centers, trusts, and rural development. He was notably active in providing social support and relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
